The AVENTIX XV Series Features
The modular valves feature universal threads, parallel wiring, and aluminum bases. They can deliver enhanced flow rates compared to other systems, providing a flow rate of up to 350 liters per minute, making them ideal for automotive, food, and factory automation manufacturers. Currently, the Aventix SV valves only include the XV03 Series, but Emerson plans to release the XV05 series in October 2024, providing flow volumes of up to 880 liters per minute.
The AVENTIX valve system is designed to be highly versatile and adaptable, rendering it well-suited for a diverse array of applications. Emerson’s online configurator furnishes comprehensive, user-friendly instructions, enabling machine builders and integrators to tailor the system to their precise requirements. The user-friendly tool helps system integrators select the necessary components for the automated system in a simple, step-by-step process, ensuring smooth operation.
In addition to the core system, a range of supplementary modules is offered for purchase, allowing for customization based on specific needs. These modules encompass various options for field bus systems, D-Sub control modules, terminal strips, and various valve configurations.
Moreover, Emerson caters to machine builders by supplying an array of accessories for their AVENTIX XV valve systems. These accessories comprise shut-off modules, supply modules, speed modules, regulators, silencers, and threaded push-to-connect port connections, enabling users to tailor their systems to exact specifications.

Control and Communication Protocols
Emerson provides a comprehensive range of options for end users to manage their valve systems effectively. The AVENTIX valve system offers extensive support for various communication protocols, featuring specially configured modules for PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET, EtherNET/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, and I/O-Link Class A, Class B, and Class AB.
With Fieldbus options such as I/O-Link, integrators can also get their machines up and running quicker by configuring their systems remotely. However, for simpler systems, machine builders can utilize a parallel wired 25-pin or 44-pin DSUB module or opt for a module equipped with 27 spring clamp terminal strips.
Whether your system is highly complex or limited in space, requiring the flexibility of a field bus or a smaller system that can be connected with a single DSUB cable, there is a communication module to meet your needs.
The highly configurable valve system offers more options for designing complex systems. Wide support and add-on modules allow manufacturers to find products that fit their unique needs.
