Compressed Air Preparation Units

Festo’s preconfigured and assembled compressed air preparation units are specifically designed for the food and beverage industry. These units fully comply with the Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines and feature filtration capabilities down to 0.01 µm, achieving a 99.999% particulate removal efficiency. 

Furthermore, the air preparation units are designed to meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) requirements for airflow, connection size, and particle class ratings.

Preconfigured, Assembled, and Tested

Customers have the option to select from different modules, each with differing flow rates. These flow rates are customized to meet specific air quality class standards. Each unit comes equipped with essential components, including a filter regulator, a filter, a lubricator, an on/off valve, a soft-start valve, and a branching module and is set up to meet each customer’s unique needs. 

The units come preconfigured and assembled for quick installation. Before shipping, each system undergoes thorough individual testing to ensure it meets the highest quality standards. Each system can be ordered through its unique part number, and new units are available globally with quick shipping times.

Safe Quality Air 

The air preparation system includes a diverse selection of accessories that simplify preventive maintenance and cleaning. It is outfitted with clear and easy-to-read gauges and visual indicators that alert operators or maintenance personnel when it's time to replace a filter cartridge. Additionally, the units are equipped with lockout/tagout functionality to guarantee safety during maintenance procedures.

The units have been meticulously designed to meet the precise specifications of the food industry according to the ISO 8573-1:2010 standards. Every preassembled unit is categorized under a specific air quality class, making it easier for customers to make their selections.
