Identco Introduces Rebranded Wire and Cable Labels for Efficient Identification

Labeling solutions manufacturer Identco has rebranded its TTL200 series of labels as DuraWrap and DuraFlag. These rebranded, print-on-demand labels are designed to help with wire and cable organization by providing an efficient identification solution.

Cable and Wire Identification

Inconsistent identification or non-labeled wires can result in unsafe or complex issues. Without clear labeling, there is a risk of turning off incorrect breakers, leading to electrical shock. Also, according to building codes, electrical panels must be labeled, as failure to comply can result in fines. DuraWrap and DuraFlag Labels 

The DuraWrap and DuraFlag labels, formerly TTL200 series labels, are designed for durable and long-lasting use in marking wires, cables, and wire harnesses. These labels feature a self-laminated construction that protects them from chemicals, high temperatures, moisture, and scratches. This ensures precise and reliable identification in challenging environments not commonly found in similar products.

Identco has also made improvements to its label design to enhance identification. One notable update is an opaque white print area, improving dark wire insulation's readability. This improvement ensures that the labels are more effective and easier to read in varying lighting conditions. 

The DuraWrap and DuraFlag labels, now available in multiple sizes, are designed to cater to the specific needs of a diverse customer base. These labels are designed to cover a wide range of AWG sizes, from 10 through 4/0, and IEC 60228 (mm²) sizes ranging from 6 to 625. They can also accommodate anywhere from four to 40 conductors in width, making them versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.
