Cable and Wire Identification
Inconsistent identification or non-labeled wires can result in unsafe or complex issues. Without clear labeling, there is a risk of turning off incorrect breakers, leading to electrical shock. Also, according to building codes, electrical panels must be labeled, as failure to comply can result in fines. Lastly, a quick response would be next to impossible in an emergency, such as an electrical malfunction, without wire labels.

DuraWrap and DuraFlag Labels
The DuraWrap and DuraFlag labels, formerly TTL200 series labels, are designed for durable and long-lasting use in marking wires, cables, and wire harnesses. These labels feature a self-laminated construction that protects them from chemicals, high temperatures, moisture, and scratches. This ensures precise and reliable identification in challenging environments not commonly found in similar products.
Identco has also made improvements to its label design to enhance identification. One notable update is an opaque white print area, improving dark wire insulation's readability. This improvement ensures that the labels are more effective and easier to read in varying lighting conditions.
The DuraWrap and DuraFlag labels, now available in multiple sizes, are designed to cater to the specific needs of a diverse customer base. These labels are designed to cover a wide range of AWG sizes, from 10 through 4/0, and IEC 60228 (mm2) sizes ranging from 6 to 625. They can also accommodate anywhere from four to 40 conductors in width, making them versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.

Print-on-Demand Labeling
Identco’s DuraWrap and DuraFlag labels are print-on-demand. The print-on-demand model eliminates inventory management and reduces upfront costs, providing customers with precisely what they need. For instance, if a company creates an electrical drawing before assembling/wiring the electrical cabinet, they can save several hours that would have been spent typing and self-printing the required labels.
Identco offers various application solutions, including ratings and nameplates, masking and protection, instructional materials, security and authentication solutions, marketing materials, compliance and regulatory labels, branding solutions, warning and caution labels, wire and cable identification products, track and trace solutions, and packaging and logistics applications. By ordering precisely what's needed from Identco, companies can enjoy these cost savings and prepare their electrical cabinets more efficiently for projects and machines.
